Daniel began his accounting career at PwC in the State and Local Tax practice, specializing in clients within the financial services industry. Supported by a strong academic background—earning an MS in Accountancy from the University of Rochester and a BS in Finance and Marketing from Boston College—he developed a technical foundation in complex, multi-jurisdictional tax matters early in his career. He continued to broaden his expertise at Baker Tilly, where he gained diverse experience in both tax and assurance engagements across a wide range of industries. Daniel later joined Seil, where he played a key role in modernizing the firm’s operations by integrating technology and implementing AI-driven enhancements to improve workflow, efficiency, and accuracy. Now a Partner at Shah & Lee Associates, LLC, he continues to lead the firm’s innovation efforts while guiding clients with a forward-thinking, strategic approach to accounting and advisory services.
